Fastglass Direct offer replacement stove glass across the UK and wanted a website which would allow them to sell their products online quickly and easily.  We built the site using Joomla 1.5 with the Virtuemart ecommerce plugin and heavily modified the layouts in order to keep the site as simple as possible which is what the client intended.

We also did some extensive custom work for them.  We created a referral tracking system so that when someone visits the site it records the referring URL (ie which website they came from to get there) and then this is recorded when and if they place an order in the order details.  This enables Fastglass Direct to keep track of any referral royalties that they need to pay their partners.

We also created a custom calculator which allows users to request custom glass.  The user enters the dimensions of the glass they would like and the price is calculated for them based on 1cmx1cm squares of glass.  These dimensions are then recorded in the order status so that Fastglass know exactly how to cut the custom glass.
