This site was built for a small East-Lothian based consultancy who wanted a simple and elegant web presence to allow them to direct potential clients to and receive potential clients from. The design is very low-key and professional in order to best reflect this need.
The site also makes use of sIFR technology which uses a combination of Flash and Javascript to dynamically replace certain pieces of text on the page with an image of text - this therefore means that any font can be used and that font doesn't need to be located on the end-user's computer (a limitation of traditional web design). sIFR is also search engine friendly and accessible, however, since it overlays the image on top of regular text so if the person can't see the Flash images the text is still there underneath for them to view.
