Arcas has been commissioned to create a new ecommerce site for Donside Heating Supplies’ FASTGLASS Replacement Stove Glass service.
The site will be built using Joomla 1.5 alongside the Virtuemart ecommerce plugin and will allow customers to view the various makes and models of replacement glass they offer. In addition to most of the standard shopping functions, we will also be doing some custom development including:
- Referral tracking: the clients wants to be able to know where people buying products on their site have come from so we will modify the site to record the original referring URL (if there is one) and save this whenever they place an order.
- Custom calculator: the clients to be able to offer customers the ability to enter custom sizes of the glass they need and have the site calculate the total cost on their behalf.
